Echoes of Industry

In the heart of the rugged Rocky Mountains of Colorado, where the peaks pierce the sky and the valleys whisper tales of old, stands an abandoned mining building. Its weathered exterior bears witness to decades of toil and sweat, echoing the industry that once thrived here.

I found myself drawn to this relic of the past. Equipped with my 4WD and my camera gear, I set out to capture this quiet scene, which holds a remnant of a much busier time in Colorado’s history. It was a time of intense prospecting and mineral extraction, which supported settlements throughout the Rockies.
